Nigerian photographer Andrew Esiebo presents an incisive, searing, and eminently watchable portrait of young queer Africans living in Europe, in his multimedia work Living Queer African (5’25, Paris, 2007). Documentary Difficult Love (South Africa, 2010) presents intimate stories from the black lesbian community in South Africa through the celebrated photography of visual activist, Zanele Muholi. The screening is curated by Jennifer Bajorek, Goldsmiths, University of London and introduced by Natasha Bissonauth, Cornell University.
